June Baker has received a Commonwealth award for her outstanding contribution as a volunteer at Strathdevon for over 16 years. It seems that everyone enjoys being around June, both residents and staff. She is a special person. Her award was signed by the Prime Minister, Julia Gillard and she received a personal note of congratulations from local MP Sid Sidebottom.

Staff and residents are all pleased that June has been recognised for her hard work and dedication over so many years.
