Sharon Donovan joined Uniting Aged Care (UAC) in May 2011. She came to UAC from The Alfred where she was Executive Director, Nursing Services, Chief Nursing Officer, Alfred Health and Adjunct Associate Professor, La Trobe University.

She brings to UAC experience in strategic planning, the implementation of new and enhanced services, and clinical governance. Sharon was responsible for project control and model of care at The Alfred Centre Stage 2.

Sharon has extensive leadership and management experience at a senior level in both the private and public sectors including in aged services.

Sharonholds a Bachelor of Nursing, Post-Graduate Certificate in Midwifery and a Master of Business Administration. She won the 2004/05 VHA Silverman Dakin True Professionals Award.
